Celebrate Credit Union Day by being a part of a collaborative art project! The event will be held at Weyburn Credit Union from from 10am until 3pm - it's come and go so come down wherever works for you! WCU has enlisted the help of by Regan Lanning, curator of Allie Griffin Arts Gallery/Weyburn Arts Council to create this community mural! They have chosen a photograph inspired by our amazing community by local artist, Tana Cugnet and you are invited to come recreate just a little piece of it. Only when all the pieces are put together will you see the mural we are creating together!
The best part? No artistic ability required! Just like every person in our community is unique, every canvas that makes up our mural is unique too. It is those differences that make our community stronger, and our mural that much more beautiful! The finished mural will be 9 feet long and will be on display in the Weyburn Credit Union branch location.
