Rules of Play
1.The Royal Canadian Legion Weyburn Branch #47 Spring 50/50 raffle is open to public and subject to
provincial laws and regulations.
2. Must be 18 years of age or over to purchase a ticket
3. The 50/50 tickets will be sold only in Saskatchewan
4. The ticket sales will begin February 1st, 2024 and will be sold until 12:15 pm on May 12,2024, unless
sold out prior to that date and time.
5.The draw will take place at 12:30 pm on May 12, 2024 at The Royal Canadian Legion Weyburn
Branch #47,150 – 3rd Street NE, Weyburn SK.
6. One winner will be determined by ticket number drawn Ticket holders do not have to be present at the
draw in order to win or to claim their prize.
7. The winner will be contacted by phone or address, using the information they provided on the ticket at
the time of purchase. If there is more than 1 name on the ticket, the prize will be awarded to the first
person’s name listed on the ticket
8. The cash value of the Spring 50/50 prize is 50% of total ticket sales. Maximum total ticket sales of
$30,000. Maximum payout of $15,000
9. Ticket price is 1 ticket for $20.00 only. There will be a total of 1500 tickets available for purchase.
10. Payment for tickets will be accepted by CASH only. In person ticket sales for the Spring 50/50 Draw
will be sold at the Royal Canadian Legion Weyburn Branch #47 Lounge during posted business hours.
11. All purchasers will record their name, address and phone number on the entry stub portion of the
ticket.
12. The Winner will be paid by cheque within 7 calendar days upon verification of identity ( the winner
must provide their name, address, phone number with a valid provincial or federal photo identification
card - ie: driver’s licence, passport, etc.)
13. Any unclaimed prize will be held in a secure location for the period of one year. If unclaimed in that
year, the prize will be donated to an approved SLGA charitable beneficiary.
14. By purchasing a ticket you approve to having your name, ticket number, and jackpot prize published.
15. No refunds - All ticket purchases are final. Tickets are non-transferrable.
16. Royal Canadian Legion Weyburn Branch #47 Staff and Executive are prohibited from purchasing
tickets as they are involved in the sales, recording of sales and security of the tickets.
17. Rules of Play will be posted at the Royal Canadian Legion Weyburn Branch #47.

19. In the event of a complaint or dispute, a player may contact the President at the Royal Canadian
