Weyburn Public Library

Members of the Regina Symphony Orchestra are coming to WEYBURN! Hear a delightful line up of music suitable for fans of all ages. Free to attend with no need to register.

In addition to the evening performance at the Weyburn Public Library, there is also an afternoon performance and information session for Weyburn schools and care homes at the Credit Union Spark Center's Mainil Field.

About the Musicians:

The Regina Symphony Orchestra is made up of families of string, brass, wind and percussion instruments, with local artists using them to perform music that spans time, cultures and genres.

Each section or family of instruments in an orchestra is led by a Principal Musician or first chair. Twelve of these musicians perform as the Regina Symphony Chamber Players, also known as the Core or RSCP. They perform in all of the RSO mainstage performances as part of the orchestra, taking the spotlight as solo performers when needed and work together on choosing music for chamber concerts. When not playing with the RSO, these musicians are teachers, composers and performers who have made Regina the homebase for themselves and their families.
