The Saskatchewan Health Authority is recruiting volunteers for its various programs in Weyburn. We invite anyone interested in learning how to become involved to please come by the Weyburn Public Library on Thursday, March 27th 1:30 or 6:30 pm.
We have opportunities in Weyburn Special Care Home and Tatagwa View recreation departments, as well as Weyburn Home Care’s Meals on Wheels program.
Service groups, businesses, organizations, churches, families, couples and individuals are all welcome. Students as well. This is a way of serving your community by directly helping those in long-term care facilities as well as those still living on their own who rely on a good meal brought to their homes by friendly volunteers. This is a great way to gain experience, meet new people and develop new skills.
